Donate to the Luke 4:18 Bail Fund for Dallas County via Faith in Texas

https://faithintx.org/bailfund/

From the Faith in Texas site:

"We need you! The Luke 4:18 Bail Fund, overseen and managed by Faith in Texas, aims to draw attention to the inequities within the money bail system and engage community members – especially those directly impacted – in the processes to address those injustices. All people have inherent worth and deserve to be treated with dignity, care, and respect. Ultimately, the goal of the fund is to set Dallas County captives free so they may return to their families, jobs, and community.

The Luke 4:18 Bail Fund is partnering with faith communities, currently and formerly incarcerated people, families impacted by the legal justice system, and funders to drastically reduce the jail population in Dallas County. This vital work can not be done without the generous contributions of our supporters."

"Faith in Texas is a nonpartisan, multi-racial, multi-faith grassroots movement of people united in values working together to achieve economic, racial, and social justice for all people.
We are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Universalist, and believers in humanity.  We are people of diverse races, faiths, socioeconomic backgrounds, and professions. We are your family, friends, neighbors, and community.
Faith in Texas envisions a world in which economic, racial, and social equity enable everyone to live in complete liberation to pursue their divine purpose and participate fully in the systems and processes that govern their lives."

If you're able, get into what John Lewis calls "good trouble."

Remember the names of the murdered.

Keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
